SACRAMENTO, CA

CITY & HOTEL INFO

Sacramento, California is the tribal land of the Nisenan people as well as a gathering place for many local tribes who lived throughout the Central Valley and were generational stewards of the land. Sacramento is the state capitol of California and an example of the diversity that the state embodies.

Our Opening Celebration will be held at the Sacramento LGBT Community Center (TBD) and hosted by the Center in combination with other local LGBTQ+ social justice organizations. Look forward to a fun, community focused in person event that showcases the talent and resilience of the trans community in Northern California.

COVID INFORMATION

COVID Mitigation measures will be suggested as we seek to keep the most marginalized in our community safe. Masks will be suggested with free masks available on site. We will also be offering COVID-19 Vaccinations for any community member who is interested as well as COVID testing and HIV testing.

Additional Information

The Sacramento LGBT Community Center works to create a region where LGBTQ+ people thrive. We support the health and wellness of the most marginalized, advocate for equality and justice, and work to build a culturally rich LGBTQ+ community. We envision: An end to youth homelessness, Medical care and employment opportunities for transgender people, equitable with those of cisgender white men, No new HIV infections, Ongoing coordination among all LGBTQ+ serving organizations, Civic institutions where LGBTQ+ people are equitably

represented and engaged, LGBTQ+ older adults having affirming housing, long term care, and social activities where they are safe and welcome, and Sacramento Pride as the largest celebration of diversity in the region.
